Every child is like a
shooting star…
bright, beautiful, &
able to soar beyond
our dreams.
"Like the comet Halle-Bopp
that streaked across the sky
a few years ago, Stephen’s
light startled us all. When we
thought it could not get any
brighter, it got brighter still.
Just when we were enjoying
it so much, for it wa
unexpected, so breathtaking,
it shot across the sky and
went well beyond us all
deeper into the mind of God."

Our Mission
The sole purpose of our Foundation is to honor the legacy
of love given to us by Stephen
Siller, FDNY. We do
this by paying tribute to his heroic life and death,
his 342 FDNY brothers, and all those lost on 9/11,
through the annual Tunnel To Towers Run. We support
the Pediatric Unit of the NYC Firefighter Burn Center
and burn centers throughout the nation. We strive to
help children who have lost one or both parents through
local community awards and contributions to organizations
with a like mission.
Our Vision
The guiding principle that shapes our Foundation is that
every child matters and no child’s need is too
small to benefit from the grace that comes from the
power of caring. Love and faith are the cornerstone
of our Foundation.
Our Core Values
The core belief of our Foundation is that every time
we change a child’s life for the better, we change
the future. One child at a time, we can make the world
a better place.
About the Foundation
The Stephen Siller, FDNY, ‘Let Us Do Good’ Children’s
Foundation was created to serve the needs of children
who have lost one or more parents. The Foundation sponsors
educational scholarships, counseling, financial support
and other related activities in an effort to bring hope
and healing to these children. The Foundation honors
the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, FDNY, who
lost both his parents by the time he was 10 years old.
It is a non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers,
allowing all funds to be distributed to eligible children. |
